When Derek McInnes becomes Rangers manager and that will now happen theres no point in Stewart Milne or anyone else at Pittodrie moaning about it. Del did his job by rejuvenating the city, let alone the football club. He won them silverware and brought a level of success they hadnt enjoyed for longer than anyone could remember. But for four years he kept getting told there would be a new training ground and stadium built... and hes still waiting. Im just not having this idea that Del is guilty of letting Aberdeen down. For me, its the other way around. Hes on the verge of leaving Aberdeen for Rangers because its a bigger and better club. Thats just a fact. From the fan fucking hun BoydBig club dont think so! "Fake" club more like with 5 years of history, mostly spent in the lower leagues of Scotland. 1 Link to comment

Dynamo
This has very obviously always been the case. Everyone seems to be forgetting that they have NO FUCKING MONEY. The only resolution to this is either McInnes staying, or he buys himself out of his own contract so he can resign and then talk to whoever he wants. This will not be resolved in the standard manner of "here's the money, gie's yer manager" because they have, let's just repeat, NO FUCKING MONEY. Yup. Rangers have no money and are struggling to raise the cash through their directors to pay the compo for McInnes and Docherty. The Easdale's paid off Pedro. You won't see this reported. They want McInnes to resign. Link to comment
GDON21
So by contrast the king ( @@RAZOR ) did a great job considering they were all full strength when he was here? Calderwood done a very good job at Aberdeen. Could argue the point all day and most folk will mention Queens Park & Queen of the south etc but he was successful. 1 2 Link to comment

dave_c
Kris Commons spoke about it yesterday on Sportsound. Was a decent enough episode for a change. Probably because Kris Boyd wasn't on it shouting over everyone. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05q9j6pAlso has Willie Miller making the uncontroversial point that "Provided the terms of his contract are satisfied, Derek should be allowed to talk to Rangers" ... which then becomes the news headline "Derek should be allowed to talk to Rangers". This is true - what an idiot (when you consider the whole process with Sunderland). The main thing here is that Milne and Cormack didn't cave in when the initial offer arrived the other night. They are the people though and indestructible in the eyes of many. We will come out of this stronger and if we get 1M+ then even better. Link to comment
