He was fired so the club were the ones that have broken that contract. I think we have learned from it, hence the rolling 1 year contract that Glass has which mitigates our liabilities to him if/when the club ends up dunting him Link to comment

We'd only be released from paying up if he took on a more lucrative role, or pay the difference. Even Glass's contract (if 1 year rolling) we should expect to have to pay up to a years salary from when he is let go, unless mutually agreed i.e. another club pays to secure him. Link to comment

There will be about 6 or 7 names minimum for either job that the clubs would appoint before Mcinnes. He'd only come into the reckoning if a string of potential appointees turned them down. Forest job might well be available late tonight or early tomorrow Link to comment

Henry
"Derek McIness" 25/1 for the Forest job. Derek McInnes probably better value at 33/1 Link to comment

He's picking up pocket money (but what would be a decent wage to most) doing punditry work once or twice a week. If a job comes up down south that he both wants and has a real chance of landing (ie EFL1 or 2) then great. If not, he'll just enjoy doing what he's doing right now. He probably is a bit miffed that Clarke got his contract extension with Scotland though. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
Getting into that circuit of low end EPL / championship / top end League 1 would be immense would it. just heading into different clubs, doing a shite job, getting sacked with a pay off then onto the next one. Bet Paul Lambert is loaded. Link to comment
