That's the only incident I can think of where there was a genuine misunderstanding.

And aye, I believed him when he said what he thought he heard, and it turned out to be a misunderstanding, rather than anyone lying.

It's different when someone maintains what was said was said.

Why not fuck off and wash your hands of the team if you’re so bothered about it? Pretty simple, don’t like it then don’t associate with it.

Rubbish. He beat teams and won trophies because Celtic had a massive financial advantage. He acted like an arrogant prick because he's an arrogant prick, not because he's some master of psychology.

This bullshit about him "raising standards" is absolute fucking garbage. Do you honestly think someone becomes a better footballer because they are scared of a team mate?

We heard all this bollocks with Hartley and it was a load of shite.

We've signed an obnoxious cunt whose best days are long gone. It'll be a disaster.

So it’s about budgets, that’s the worst argument in the world, posters in here say we shouldn’t be forth cos we have a bigger budget than Hibs but same people say we should challenge Celtic and the rangers when their budget is 20 times the size of ours.

Yes guys do come in and raise standards.
When Hartley signed it was noted that he raised standards the problem with him he realised after a season  he couldn’t play to the standard he wanted to so he quit. The same standards that were noted to have raised when mccinnes took over or he signed robson.

OK Celtic didn't win all those trophies because of their financial advantage then? It was just because of "Broony raising levels" If it's that simple we'll win the league next year.

He's a winner,he'll raise levels, he won't accept poor performances, brilliant we've guaranteed trophies simply by buying a 'winner'

Of course Celtic win because they have a bigger budget and he's won trophies because he was playing for the team with the biggest budget. To claim otherwise is stupidity. If he'd stayed at Hibs we wouldn't be signing him at the arse end of his career but we're being duped because he's been at Celtic.

If it was all about budgets Celtic would of won the league this year. Athletico Madrid wouldn’t be top of la liga. Liverpool wouldn’t of won it last year. Yes budgets give teams a good advantage but it’s not all about that. You need to have the right attitude to succeed and to make it to the very top. Scott brown has that attitude and hopefully it will rub off on the  young players we have

Scott Brown shouldn't be rubbing off on any young players IMO. That shit should be left behind at Celtic.

Yeah Liverpool and Ath Madrid really operate on a shoestring. AM managed to pick up a real bargain with Joao Felix at £110 million and Van Dijk being the most expensive defender in the world didn't help Liverpool at all.

Celtic only won a treble treble because of their attitude? Aye right then. The £10 million players didn't influence it at all.

I think you're reinventing "how the situation went down".

Logan claims Tonev called him a racist name

Tonev denied it

Brown backs his team mate

SPFL hold "investigation"

Believed Logan because he was clear in concise, in his mother tongue

Tonev didnt take a translator. SPFL thought he came across shifty

Celtic stand by their player.

If it was an Aberdeen player being accused of making a racist comment and they point blank denied it would you want them hounded out the club or backed?

Brown would have blindly backed anyone in a hoops shirt regardless of any injustice associated with that action.

Exactly this.

I could understand the outrage of we were signing Tonev but getting upset because Brown backed his team mate 7 years ago is way over the top IMO.

The abuse toward Logan didn't end 7 years ago, though.

Mongo's an old man who probably can't cut it on the field any more, certainly not for much longer,  and he has no managerial experience that would allow him to hit the ground running in any co-managerial capacity with our new mediocre manager, Glass.

I understand he's a massive Celtic legend that gets their players and fans alike spunking into their breakfast at the mere mention of his name, but to Aberdeen he's mostly some cunt from the cheeks who may or may not be a racist.

That mostly leaves his in the role of motivational speaker, in which case we could have just hired Rico who IS a club favourite and who IS a professional mental health/motivational speaker, who isn't a suspected racist, and we could have done so at a far lower price.

Agree that Brown won't improve us as a player.

Agree that Brown has no managerial experience.

The name 'Scott Brown', however, will attract a level of player that we probably wouldn't have been able to attract otherwise.

I really should remember which cup final it was but when they beat us and that fucking cunt and his Swedish mate were screaming in Fergusons face and celebrating in front of us instead of just celebrating their victory disgusted me.

Could you imagine Tommy Burns acting like that?

They have good budgets but they don’t have the biggest budgets in their leagues. Dare I say Liverpool is probably third biggest in their league

We've had 36 straight years of Rangers and Celtic (and now Sevco) winning the League precisely because they have the two biggest budgets.

There is no argument against this.

Then why are people saying we should be challenging them

Hardly a triumph over adversity though for fuck sake. Do you think Brown would've won as much if he'd stayed at Hibs?

Ok then how did Leicester manage to win the league and why are they further up the league than teams with far higher budgets than them this season.
No I don’t think he would of but that’s why he would never would of stayed at Hibs.

Fuck me man. Leicester paid £20 million for Maddison, £40 million for Tielemans. You are havering. Celtic are paying £10million for strikers and putting them up against Hamilton who aren't worth that if you include every player and the ground.

Why have Man City suddenly improved these last few years since being bought by the richest people in the world? Is it because they have found a magical way to win games or is it because they have bought the best players?
