Crossbow
I may have to revise my opinion on DC but let’s see the squad for next year. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Great stuff. Good to get a coach who is highly thought of. He's got a totally clean slate to work with. Hopefully he's got a few strikers lined up to join the revolution. Link to comment
Tord31
It is mighty impressive from Glass attracting Brown and Russell as his assistants. 2 Link to comment

RUL
Think our attacking play has been so aimless that getting someone involved who's coached at that level is bound to improve our attacking play. Link to comment
Ramandu
Hope he reinstates the skovdahl corner routine where our players got together like a train before splitting off in different directions. 2 Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
So, wonder if him & Glass with their apparent new brand of attacking football could help the likes of Anderson with a decent strike partner more than the McInnes strategy did? ?? 1 Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
I am a little disappointed in that Russel does look a bit like Ash Taylor. On the other hand, maybe we can stick him on pretending to be him for rest of season ? https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/carrying-christina-coaching-kane-strange-14878180 https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2017/july/ash-taylor/ Link to comment

Lencarl
Allen Russell: “I look forward to working with Stephen, Scott and the rest of the coaching staff and players to move the Club to the next level.” Great stuff. Link to comment
BitWait
He will know good and upcoming strikers from down south , the ones he likes to work with and hopefully can attract them to the club. Hopefully he sees something in Anderson and can improve his play and goals tally. Link to comment

spamspamspam
So Aberdeen have signed the Celtic captain and the England striking coach. It's like the first week in a slightly tweeked game of fitba manager. 1 Link to comment

redstrummer
Good to see DC back Glass with the who he wants to bring in immediately . Exciting summer ahead on the player recruitment , should certainly see a boost in season tickets sales if we get some guarantee fans will be permitted back in Link to comment
1983
One thing I think will be hugely important in Glass and Russell being effective will be Scott Brown giving the naysayers confidence that he believes in it. Glass and Russell talk a good game, but the coaching and training will need to be adopted without ridicule. The sort of ridicule that we in Scotland revel in - new ideas, technology, nutrition, science, double sessions, moisturiser. I can see Barry Robson taking the piss out of Russell because he’s not played at a high level. Link to comment
