Joe pike
The top 6 teams in England have agreed to join a new European Super League backed by yanks to the tune of 6 billion. The games fucked. 1 Link to comment

Zeus
Hopefully the respective leagues boot all these cunts out and the idea falls through. Link to comment
Hoofball
What is this super league setup going to be. Is it an actual league with no relegation and fans have to fly to Germany, France and Spain etc every second week for away games or is it like the champions league setup but with only those teams in it? Ten Caat
So apparently the clubs in England aren't resigning from the PL. They want to play it in tandem but the English FA/Premier League would have have to grant permission which supposedly they are not likely to do. That would then force the 6 clubs to resign from the set up. Can see this ending up in the courts and being a long drawn out process. It's a forlorn hope but it would make my decade to see them all go bust 1 Link to comment
Hoofball
Talk about having your cake and eating it. Constantly complain they play to much game but the second the chance to make more money comes along they jump straight on that band wagon. Only reason I’d be happy to see it go ahead is if it means the arse cheeks fuck off to England and don’t leave two colt teams behind Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Sounds like shite. No way the Spanish clubs will sign up for a set up that has 6 English clubs to their 3. Link to comment

The likes of Valencia, Sevilla and Villareal aren't operating on budgets close to their top 3 clubs. Sure I read recently that Valencia are close to going bust. Even Barcelona are on a dodgy wicket finances wise. Same applies to the Italian clubs below the level of Juve and the Milan clubs. Even Roma and Napoli aren't close. Note that PSG and Bayern aren't in (yet anyway) Link to comment
aberdeen1970
It won't happen. UEFA will throw them more places and cash and the circus will roll on and the rich will get richer. Meanwhile the rest of us will need a spreadsheet to work out if we'll be seeded for the 4th round of 6 qualifiers to get into the group stages of the Europa Paupers Cup. 1 Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Guaranteed group spots for clubs based on all time historical coefficient points is the latest demand apparently. Link to comment

North_Andy_Dandy
Strong statements from UEFA and the Leagues about the consequences for the clubs and players if they do leave. It is just pure greed at the end of the day with no consideration for the fans. Link to comment
Kincardine_Mearns_Red
The EPL and the laughingly titled Champions League are affront to the game. This will be exactly the same. Link to comment

ericblack4boss
This I is obviously an arm up the back to UEFA, the whole game is corrupt and lacking integrity, Scottish football is just a small part of the whole stinking, rotten to the core sespit, that is the so called beautiful game Link to comment

Ernie McCracken
UEFA is already so far removed from us up here, I don't really share their disgust. This is just the next phase of what the likes of Sky and UEFA have created. If there was some sort of Celtic and Rangers breakaway, I would actively encourage/welcome it, subject to there being no colts or B teams left behind. Link to comment
ericblack4boss
Did it not occur to UEFA when they at the behest of the bigger clubs, created the champions league. Then made the qualification skewed towards bigger clubs, And abolished the Cup winners Cup, That they were setting a precedent for the shithouse clubs to call the shots You reap what you sow. 6 Link to comment
Fridge
Probably be games played in Asia and all sorts of shit. Fucking shame for the normal fans who the Clubs don’t seem give a fuck about. Link to comment
