He's having to do an incredible amount of running around up there on his own. I thought he looked much much better at the start of the season when we seemed to have JET playing up alongside him. More recently we appear to have gone to some sort of 433 with Ramirez on his own, two guys like Ojo and JET miles away from him, and 3 other midfielders sitting in front of our 2 central defenders, while the full backs fire up the pitch at every opportunity. It seems our only threat is then coming from the full backs putting crosses in. Link to comment

Hopefully Watkins can offer him more support than he has been getting. Think it's harsh to criticise him when the tactics aren't his. Link to comment
RED_JOHN
Once Glass actually sorts out a proper attacking formation we will see Ramirez start banging them in. Glass has somehow taken the McInnes jitters and decided 1 up front (a mile on his own) is the way forward….it isn’t really. Grow a set and start being more positive Stephen Glass. Link to comment

Pretty much - we're more exciting to watch than a McInnes team (which wouldn't be hard) but the only reason for that currently is Ramsay and MacKenzie bombing on and putting the ball in the box. The fact that is our only form of attack is actually causing total chaos to our defence. Hopefully Watkins and even the young lad Samuels, alongside the return of Hedges, will give a bit more variety to our attacks, and will help Ramirez out. He seems to be technically good and has a good awareness of where to be and when to make runs etc. Just need a bit more variety to the supply he's getting. Link to comment
RED_JOHN
I think he has went off the boil the last few weeks and was struggling at times. Strikers go through these spells at times. I like the lad though and think he is probably our best signing as he will outscore most in the league. We just need more goals from the rest of the team. If Ferguson does leave I would put him on penalties also. Link to comment
