Sounds like a good opportunity to become a better than average defender. Make sure you're practicing 500 a week.

With us taking this fantastic style of soccer (Glassball) to a new level we won’t need to head the ball that often anyway. It’s Christian Ramirez I would be more concerned about as our defence will have very little to do anyway.

Fair amount of data coming in about dementia caused by repeated head impacts. Clearly it's much worse for rugby, American football & boxing, but there's definitely an effect from playing football over a long period of time. 

This will be the big thing in these sports over the next decade or two.
