Gives away an insane amount of penalties which is either unlucky or not learning. For his 50 yard run across Ibrox to smash into Goldson he deserves a bit of slack. The best left back we have at the club (not a high bar). He could be here all his career. His biggest and best club will be us, like Considine. Will be a sad indictment of where we are as a club if he is here as long, and a regular starter. As others have said, he’s getting better, but still prone to daft mistakes, and positionally not great at times! 1 Link to comment

The penalty he gave away at Dens Park kast week was extremely harsh to be awarded and the spot kick he gave away after a long, protracted VAR check during the 6-0 defeat at celtic park earlier this season was dubious to say the least. He wins the ball fairly and one of their orientals (can't remember their name as can't differentiate between them) falls over his thigh as though he had been pushed out of a Kamikaze pilot's jet to dupe the ref into awarding the penalty. He's not afraid to get stuck in, very good at going forward, plays for the shirt, and is improving all of the time. 1 Link to comment

And a few others over the years. He has been one of our best performers the last few weeks. He's a fighter and he takes responsibility. He is looking better going forward with Hoillett working with him. Him and Polvara have come on leaps and bounds this season. I've heard it for years where good players got hammered. Aluko got slated for being 'sulky'. Ryan Jack (forgetting his treacherous act) used to get dogs abuse. Lewis Ferguson had his detractors - too slow I'v seen people say. McKenzie looks a better player than McGarry at this point who hasn't settled yet. He rarely gets beaten. And we works that left side really well. How about giving the lad some support. Again, this is nonsense. See Dean Campbell. Link to comment
Footballs coming Rome
Mackenzie is the least of our worries. It’s the other 2 or 3 along side him which are letting us down lately. 1 1 Link to comment
JumboJET
I am a fan of this man's "head down and sprint forward with the ball" routine. 1 1 Link to comment

perthshirered
As I've stated numerous times on this very thread he is as thick as fuck, zero football brain and hasn't a fucking clue of what's going on around him. The fuckers got bright orange hair and this useless cunt still can't follow his man. Link to comment

DD1903
Having just seen the highlights, and not appreciating this at the time yesterday, his ‘efforts’ at the county goal yesterday were truly embarrassing. Let his man wander away from him, and his ‘jump’ to header the ball was of lee miller standards Link to comment
GGMDONS
Who ever comes in as Manager needs to sort out the whole defence as they don't know how to defend I am also starting to think we need to find a replacement for Shinnie as he no longer looks fit and is now struggling in many games We also need to get Vinnie back for next season Link to comment

Johnnyred1
A defenders strength is in the ability to anticipate and NOT ball watch. If he can't learn the basics, he will never progress to the desired quality required for a top division player. Link to comment

Andy_123
He's pretty good defending one-on-one situations, but pretty shite at everything else. His willingness to drive forward with the ball is undone because his final ball is usually poor. I would keep him but he can't be our starting LB next season. I doubt he was supposed to be this season, just turned out McGarry is really shit and injury prone Link to comment

Jack has an okay game in every 10, but Consi was class all the time. Joking aside Jack really is shit, but every so often he will surprise us with a decent enough performance. He however really isn't good enough. Link to comment

Dons79
Considine managed to get in the Scotland squad and arguably helped us qualify for the last euros, McKenzie will never ever see the Scotland squad. 1 Link to comment
Broken_Glass
Andy Considine the Aberdeen player who gets rated higher and higher as the years go by despite him being extremely average and extremely limited at best. What an enigma. 1 1 Link to comment
