All ref's should have no attachment to any team in a league they are officiating in.  Obviously that is in a ideal/dream world.

On a lighter note, what is the worst decision anyone has ever seen in Scottish fitba?

One of Andrew Dallas' no doubt. The penalty in the cup final springs to mind, which was a) not a handball and b) outside the box, and both these things were visible from the other end of the stadium.

Or the knocking unconscious of our player in the penalty box in the act of heading the ball at the goal resulting in his replacement but no punishment for the perpetrator (surely the very definition of dangerous play) or penalty.

Us not getting a penalty there was a fucking disgrace. GMS had headed the ball and was caught well late.

Re Madden (who to be entirely fair I actually quite like, far from the worst) was there not a situation in front of the RDS where Mcgregor should have been sent off to give us a win against the post phoenix hun.  Recall it was at or around the tipping point of the bastards over taking us once more.

Anyone who lived through the post souness hun through to the Ibrox 91 despair will need no introduction to questionable and at times completely out of control refereeing.

Mike McCurry, Barry Ferguson and Aril Stavrum incident in 2001 merkland road end. (I’ve mentioned it before) Still astonished today by the decision.

Dunno about that but there was an incident a few seasons ago where McGregor went in knee high on Ferguson and it should've been a red card and a penalty (to make it 3-3) to us. Ref bottled it and gave neither and the huns won 4-2.

Im pretty sure Madden was the red that night.

The one where Lafferty got Mulgrew sent off was astonishing too.

Jesus, I forgot about that.

Aye, it's easy to 'apologise' when it's too late for anyone to do anything about it, particularly when there's zero accountability for your 'mistakes'.

Dead Huns were battling Celtic for 1st, and there's never been a more open display of 'keeping them in the hunt' than that, and to fuck with what the wee team has to play for.

This is how it was, this is how it remains, because the clubs are too ignorant, scared, and short-sighted to do anything about it.

Scottish Football without the Dead Huns and Celtic, and with a competent governing body,  would flourish.

Did McCurry not say that he didn't award a foul because he would have had to send Ferguson off and didn't want to do that. We put in an official complaint about his refereeing that day as there were a whole host of shite decisions that could only be explained by him showing bias to the huns. Never went anywhere because that was (and still is) accepted practice, they were just told to be less obvious about it.

Yet what do any fans/clubs outwith Tims and Huns do?

Fuck all.

Well it is really down to weak chairmen at other clubs allowing this.....hello Mr S Milne. Nobody stands up to the weegie blue/green mafia nowadays and and its been like that for 30 odd years they pretty much do what they like as the SFA/SPFL is run for the benefit of those two. Corrupt as hell..........
