Overall style of play very poor though, with virtually no effective midfield. Need to play with a lot more pace.

I thought Barron was immense in midfield for us. Bez tormented them out on the right in the final stages. McKenzie just looks a solid player, and Ramsey is a proper footballer. 

The younger players have stepped up and (almost) saved the day, thank fuck, and they've had to.

My belief that we would not be relegated has proven right.

Wasn't the prettiest of performances today, but I couldn't give a fuck how we got the 3 points, so long as we got it.

I've read this forum for a long time but some of the shite and bed wetting coming from a lot of people on her and other social media platforms has been crazy. We were never going down. Pressure off the team now and hopefully we'll see some improved performances from them in the coming games.

Have to agree, a lot of his tactical comments are spot on. Today - Ramsay getting doubled up on 1st half and Ferguson mismatched up against centre halfs at set pieces.

He's maybe nae the easiest on the ear but he gets a lot spot on with what's happening during a game

Thought McKenzie was excellent this week and last, in an attacking sense. Totally overshadowed Ramsay albeit the latter was told to sit back more than McKenzie 

Barron is a very very good player, extremely intelligent the way he makes angles to play those passes. 

Vinnie had a great game too, getting better as he progresses.

I like Garner too. Not the best player, but a former assistant to the great man during a few of the most successful seasons we've ever had, and he clearly loves the club, so some respect due. Great win! Deserved too, for a miles better second half. Defense shaky as hell at times though, these guys just aren't listening to what the manager's telling them, or else they are and just cant do it, or else the manager isn't telling them. Which is it?

Actually quite enjoyed that today, second half anyway. First game I’ve seen us win “in the flesh” all season. 
 

wee bit scary near the end but big joe was very solid all day. that’s how he used to play prior to this season.

Watkins and Ramirez worryingly anonymous though. If there's a way to get Ramirez off our books in summer we should take it. Bonus if we can get a fee into the bargain.
