Any more word on this recent splashed story of dirty Huns going to steal one of our good young prospects?

My understanding is that hes not been with club for a while. His sister signed for a Glasgow team and the whole family moved down to central belt and his family have been hoaring him to everyone they can!

This is pretty much it. Sister signed for Celtic, London.

Family moved to Glasgow, took Lancelot to Celtic performance school and expected them to sign him but they weren’t interested.

Been trying to force their way out since. Sure dad fell out with Celtic and daughter went to either Patrick or Motherwell.

Family have treated afc like shit.

plenty of instances of that, i saw one once the club wanted to sign a 14 year old as a centre half, dad said he would only sign if they were to play him CM, club said well we dont think he is a CM he is a CH and thats where we would sign him to play. fathers response was well okay but you must make him captain.  club didnt sign him and he was nowhere to be seen since in footballing terms

Thats brought back random memories of a Livingston game in the 00s where Eric Pollard was on the pitch at half time barking on a microphone

Aye,  met him a few times when the Emmerdale lot used to come up for Anthony Nolan  charity events every year. We escorted their bus on motorbikes to the event's.  Did Ellon, Inverurie and Newmachar the three years I was involved as far as I recall.

Mental! I was speaking to someone at weekend that coaches his sons team. U10s or something. Says parents are an absolute nightmare. Think their son should be in A team when he’s a Z team player! Puts you off getting involved in this stuff when my son is eventually old enough.

I remember watching Pollard playing for AFC v my loon’s boys club team up at Balgownie a few years back. The lad’s old man was standing behind the goals coaching him thru the game, really loud and aggressively. The AFC coaches had to come over and tell him to STFU, we’ll do the coaching.

Poor lad.

His son will resent him for it, eventually.

Never changed. Relentless. Most of it was nonsense.

LANCELOT?? ????
Serious questions need to be asked of the parents if thats what theyve called their kid.

Lancelot fucking Pollard????

”good ball Lancelot”

”man on Lancelot”

Bet his dads an enormous cunt given that name and the personal accounts on here.
Hope the boy batters his dad, pitchside in front of abdy, when he’s old enough.

He had a similar aged son who was at academy, he was a good prospect but has quit due to injuries.

You seem to have a good handle on the youth setup RUL. Do we have a number of players that you are hopeful can make the step up in the next 3-4 years? Seems to be a few young plays in 18s that look really good prospects but still only 15/16 like bavidge.

Bloody hell, that’s terrible news. Spoke to Simmie at Cormack Park at end of last year and he said his loon had been out injured for a year, didn’t know he had since quit.

Back to Pollard - his old man, when coaching his loon at AFC games, used to do this weird semi spitting thing when his loon fucked up - “accccchhhssssssssss”. Strange fucker
