Anyone heard of these wankers? 

A group which goes around deflating or slashing the tyres on SUVs as part of a supposed "climate protest".  They leave self-righteous notes on the affected cars, informing the owners that their "gas guzzler kills".

In Scotland, apparently there have been instances of this in Dundee and Edinburgh, but its a global phenomenon.

They even target electric vehicles, saying "we cannot electrify our way out of the climate crisis".

Where to start with this pish?  They fail to take into account individual cars fuel economy, or the mileage each individual owner does and the fact they target green vehicles shows it up for the nonsense it is.  They claim to target "rich / posh areas" - a subjective description and a discriminatory policy to boot.

And if we "cannot electrify our way out of the climate crisis" - then why the fuck are we bothering with the switch to electric vehicles at all?

It sounds to me like a group of fearful LGBT / socialist adolescents who have had their empty heads filled with climate propaganda, and genuinely think they are helping / being edgy by doing this.

I don't own an SUV, but if I caught someone tampering with my tyres they would be rewarded with a claw hammer over the head, for their trouble.

Typically, the Police seem to be doing fuck all about it, but if it goes on it will no doubt cause instances of violence (as per my threats above) or some tragedy where an on-call Doctor cant respond to a call etc.

It has also given me the idea of vandalising Patrick Harvie's bike ?

There's not a great deal of tampering going on.  As I understand it, a small ball bearing is inserted inside the valve cap which is then screwed back on, causing a gradual deflation.

Its a mild tax.  In Paris or Berlin, your posh motor is more likely to be burned out.
