Why do you think he was made "club captain" when Brown was made team captain? If it hadn't been in his contract there was no need to do anything at all Link to comment

Considine remained club captain as a gesture for a short period before it was phased out. A gesture. Link to comment

Exactly. For a new manager to come in and be forced to give the captaincy to someone he might not rate due to a contract stipulation is something that would not happen. Link to comment
winchester83
Obvious that some punters on here are wrfmissing the action making a big deal about contracts and captains WTF Link to comment

I used to know the guy who did that. Absolutely no chance he knew what was in the contracts. Link to comment

We'll the EBTs weren't in the contracts so I suppose that's the point. From memory Rangers had their club secretary sitting on the committee that oversaw player registrations and he new his club were hiding the illegal payments. Cheating cunts. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Being in receipt of one himself I’m fairly sure he’d have been aware of their existence, yes. Link to comment

RedRichard
Understandable choice. Glad we have an outfield captain again. Link to comment
Big Hat Logan
Lol the enthusiasm will be sucked right out of him after a few games then it’ll be on to McRorie Link to comment
JamieMT
Good selection. Glad it's no longer Joe, never been a fan of Keepers as Captain and his form seemed to dip the moment he got the armband. Link to comment

But the love the Wycombe fans have for him and the way he spoke about the club in return has made me a fan. Plus i have to trust the manager and recruitment team know a little bit more about these things than an idiot like me. Link to comment

Wonder if he'll start Bates against Celtic since he's already said he was out of position at LCH and struggled. hope he's nowhere near the starting eleven against Celtic Link to comment
Dal Riata Don
At this stage, I don't think this is a good decision by Goodwin. I think Stewart is going to take time to learn this league as we know that Scottish football is a lot faster than that of England. It's too much pressure to put on someone too soon. 1 1 Link to comment
