At The Border Guy
I'm glad to see Goodwin gone. But, as I've said in other threads, that's the most total, complete, awful performance I've ever seen by Aberdeen in 30 years of following the club. Not a single more-than-half-arsed performance on the pitch. It's made me wonder if the players were actively making an effort (or lack of, I guess) to lose today? I've never seen such blanket incompetence from a Dons team. What do you reckon? Were they? And, if so, was is worth it for the greater good? Or are we just fucking shite? Link to comment

Millertime
There were no players not trying today They just had no idea what it was they were supposed to be doing They are also at a point they have absolutely zero confidence Link to comment

There was nobody not running, plenty of our players snapping into tackles Apart from coulson lying flat on his back, but when they scored from it he stomped his feet at least Link to comment
KenDodd'sDad
Can only hope so or it’s going to be a gruesome remainder of the season. Link to comment
Guest milne_afc
Hibs scored 3 free headies. The Dons players should be living in fear after that performance, that absolutely chucked it. Link to comment
Crossbow
One things for sure. Lose the next one 6-0 and it’s got a hell of a lot worse. Link to comment

Coulson as you said. They were going through the motions. Shithouses. Link to comment

I honestly think they are just mentally beaten, drained and spent There's a couple of properly bloody awful players, no doubt But they are mostly average to superb (Admittedly only one is superb) I actually thought Roberts looked decent when he came on A proper manager will get them firing, I have no worries about that Getting the right manager is my worry Link to comment
Schapenneuker
I didn't think any performance or result could possibly be worse than Monday's. I was wrong. Link to comment
anderson72
Hindsight. Goodwin signed to many forward thinking players, even in defence. Couldn't change if things are going wrong. Imbalance to the team, from defence to attack. Clueless Link to comment

It was complete incompetence and lack of effort from every single one of them today. Link to comment

cruickc2
Almost everyone on here wanted Goodwin gone asap, if we won today he would still be in position, he’s now gone. Yeah we got beat 6-0 but if that’s what was needed for Cormack to finally do what was required. He lost the dressing room that’s the bottom line with the players. We were flying relatively before the World Cup, sitting in 3rd with a game in hand. He then employs horrendous tactics against Celtic and tries to park the bus. He then basically says to justify this, that he felt he didn’t have good enough players to have a go and beat Celtic. So he has publicly said he thinks his players are shit and not good enough to do what every other team has done against Celtic. He then expects them to bust a gut for him in the up coming games. Another example of his shit man management. The truth will be if we do get the proverbial bounce in the next game. What would you do if your Manager said publicly that he thought you were shit and not good enough? 1 Link to comment
Adogcalledspot
You could say, that's the most complete team performance of any Dons side, every one to a man united in one course of objective Action. To get rid of Goodwin. If this is the case then we can expect a completely different performance starring against St Mirren 🤔 Link to comment
anderson72
We will find out next game if the players raise their game, or if a change of formation and inspiration is the key. Or if the players are rubbish. Need to show professional pride and heart Link to comment
old sheep
A group of players lacking in confidence and out of form who knew they were playing for a manager out of his depth and on the verge of the sack. When you think about it, it’s hardly surprising we got a doing today. Link to comment

Adogcalledspot
Most modern players are mercenaries , they don't know the meaning of Soul, Tradition, Spirit Goodwin as it's been said often threw players “ under the bus “ The worms turned. Link to comment
Broken_Glass
100% that was a going through the motions performance not a committed performance. Wage thieves. Link to comment
Daisy1903
No idea of the motives behind that completely lacklustre performance. You can see there is zero confidence there and that makes winning games harder. But what is completely unacceptable is the effort that has been put in by most of those players over the last couple of games. Some of them are decent players but right now I would get rid of the whole lot of them cause they're a disease. To follow up that game against Darvel with a complete lack of effort today is gross misconduct. Forget Goodwin, doesn't matter if he's a shite manager or not, those players should've ran through a brick wall today Link to comment
