When you are on a plane, do you prefer the aisle, window or middle seat?

Vertigo isn’t a fear of heights.

Vertigo is called height vertigo when the sensation of vertigo is triggered by heights. Height vertigo is caused by a conflict between vision, vestibular and somatosensory senses. This occurs when vestibular and somatosensory systems sense a body movement that is not detected by the eyes.

Ahhh, ‘height vertigo’ I thought you just meant ‘vertigo’ . ( cause that’s wot you said )😜

Nah, the fear of heights itself is acrophobia. But I'm ok on planes as I said, just cant look over sheer drops standing still when I do get all the symptoms of vertigo...dizziness, sweaty and my body goes rigid. Genuinely terrified.

Window seat for me. Actually bizarre as I have vertigo....only explanation I can think of is that the plane is moving. But i cant bear looking out of the window up a block of flats for example. From about the 3rd storey up i have to back away.

Exact same as me my friend. Feel faint very high up but the window seat on a plane is still ace.

Don't much enjoy it when it involves a lot of flying over a body of water, to be fair.

....Especially if you are flying over the area of sea from the Bay of Bengal to the northern coast of Australia.

Plenty of ravenous saltwater crocodiles readily prepared for any plane crashing into the sea over in that region.

Safe enough over the North Sea though min, unless your plane crashes and you encounter a starving conger eel or a hungry basking shark down below.

Window or aisle.

Middle is a no go zone unless its an hour or under flight.

Last on the plane also.

Priority boarding..... to sit for an extra 45mins. Gypes!

Exactly especially if you’re on the aisle and someone is likely to want you to move to get in. Get pished get on the plane last, seat belt on, sleep and then wake up mid air when the drinks trolley is going passed. Only ever utilised priority boarding if I have the kids.

You're crashing, you're fucked. Whatever body of water you're flying over is pretty irrelevant.

Aisle for me, every time.

Nando Parrado would have something to say about that.

Dad sits up in the cockpit 👍

Is there a specific reason for this, Dad min? 🤔

I take it the plane is on autopilot mode at this point. 😄
