True, but it's peak Cormack to announce it at a time when we're managerless, not out of relegation danger,  and still stinging from 2 of the worst results in the club's history.

Smacks of a dead cat being thrown on the table.

Jim Leighton is just a very quiet man and like most goalkeepers probably a natural loner.He took his goalkeeper coach role at Aberdeen very seriously, diligently and enthusiastically,would sit in the stand at Balmoor reserve games, the same end as his goalkeeping protégés and watched the matches avidly,and these young goalkeepers would have learned a lot from him.Sweden 1-0 at Ibrox finest hour..Great goalkeeper.

That was probably as good a goalkeeping performance as I've ever seen
