How much for DUK?

Recommended Posts

Talking to my mates about this, Benfica probably have a sell on so we should be aiming high.

I think £8 Million starting point, we got 6 for Ramsey and McKenna, £12 Million should the huns ask, and a fit Morelos thrown in.

We need to stop giving our players away, we've been too nice in the past.

Really wish it wasn't someone I liked starting this thread so I could rip them

Hard to say. About the five mark I'd guess.

Do we have to go halfers with Benfica?

Fuck off? 5? You see the shite that goes for 5? Been dubious about some of your posts up to now but this confirms you as a fucking moron. Duk for less than Ramsay? No chance

We got £2m for Big Sam Allargrove...so applying the Philippe Coutinho £142m Brazilioguese factor...at least £142m and a poke o boiled airport sweeties. Or £750m minimum if Sevco 5088 The The Rangers Newco 2012 come chancing their hunnishness.

I'm being cautiously realistic. If we get more I'll be very happy.

Now what about being informative rather than just being plain insulting. Can you manage that.

Halfers with Benfica. Yes or no?

I actually don't know, and nobody seems to. Been a matter of debate since he arrived, heard everything from free with a 50% sell on to we paid a fee in full and no sell on. All those claiming to be in the know have different stories and I haven't a clue.

He is the best player we have had in decades and should be our biggest ever sale or not sold at all. Looking at fees the Glasgow scum have received for players we should absolutely not consider less then 10m. Championship clubs spend that on Strikers and he is a level above that

Ask for insane money this summer. We'll have January and summer 2024 to shift him.

I'm sticking with five with my wildest dream figure being around ten.

Hope to hell we don't have to share it with the Portuguese that would be quite the haul if we get to keep it all. Might even get to use some of it on doing up the Merkland Road End.

I would rather we kept him for as long as he is willing to stay and got less for him in the end.

He brings a level of excitement that clubs like us can rarely aquire and my 11 year old son loves him in the way I loved Eoin Jess at that age.

That is what football is about for fans, not numbers on spreadsheets.

I don't want to sell him, I would put a tag of 15m this summer, and maybe concede we had to let him go for 10-12 in January. Wasn't the fee for Bassey close to 20m and he isn't fit to lace Duk's boots

Even if we qualify for Europa league?

I hate to answer a question with another question but when we finish third at what stage of qualifying would we start in the (pre)competition this summer?

That might help persuade him to stay yes but if he has offers from the continent those teams might also have qualified for Europe and be in a position to offer him that also. Although moving back to the continent might be taking a step further away from his ultimate goal of playing in England.

He's not going anywhere. I've just renamed the site after him.

Well we're committed either way, we'll just have to start supporting AS Saint-Etienne or wherever the fuck he ends up.

I went to St Etienne for the world cup in 98, utter shithole full of immigrants, if he likes Aberdeen he'll love it there.
