What’s the song?

It isn't a rangers song. It's an Aberdeen song. The clue is that it contains words such as Aberdeen and Pittodrie rather than rangers and ibrox.

Why the hell would our fans be singing a rangers song you gype.

@Roberto is probably the lad ITK here , but I’m pretty sure the Scousers were the first British support to adopt that song , maybe when Gerard Houllier was their manager.  I think the words are the French “Allez Allez Allez” and the tune would’ve been sung by French teams before them.

So you’re probably right saying it’s not a Huns song.

Aye, surely it's only a rangers song if it's a version with rangers words in it?

The tune itself is universal. I've heard it at games all over Europe long before anyone in the UK put their own teams words to it.

Singer Jamie Webster made the Liverpool one famous along with the other 'Boss Night' gadgies but it's defo been sung all over Europe long before Liverpool put a spin on it.

However (and I may stand corrected) Liverpool were one of the first UK clubs if not the first to start with it.

Scotland even have their own version.

Was surprised to hear a song sung by our fans on Friday night. It’s one I’ve heard most predominantly by Sevco so was really surprised to hear it. No idea what the words are but it goes “Awayawayaway” then the rest is indecipherable. What are the words anyone?

King's of fucking Europe

In 1983

Ferguson and Miller

The famous AFC

Red and white the colours

Of Scotland's finest team

We play at Pittodrie,

The boys from Aberdeen...

To be fair it was the same in our day. Nothing is new.

Am sorry but Tina turner simply the best has no mention of hun, ibrox, jakey, wife’s swollen eye or anything in the lyrics

but it’s still a hun song, played on every west coast radio station before, during and after they 2 play.constant, then you don’t hear it again for 3 months.

Only in the mind of someone obsessed with those backwards fuckers is that a Hun song. It's a pop song that gets played before games at Ibrox nothing more.

Real Madrid sang "We all agree the ibrox disaster was magic"?

Fair play.

Same tune different words. It has always been thus.

And on a similar vein, Hey Jude has always been a victims song. Sadly. As it's a stonker by the Beatles.

These poor lads couldn't find a venue to play it for their wedding.

Of course it’s a stinking hun song. There is absolutely no doubt about that.
