RIP. Aged 61, Ebbe’s assistant. Gave my daughter a couple of comps for tims away when she was his paper girl, she took me, we lost 7-0. That aside, a nice bloke.

His dad was the guy who managed Denmark to the Euro Championship win in 1992 I think. Can't really remember much about him during his time with us to be honest.

I remember in Ebbed time we tried to sign hun DMC, Nilsson had coached him at Ibrox and I think it was him that wanted the deal

He discovered Ebbe Skovdahl's hidden away bottle of Stewart's Cream of the Barley whisky in the boot room of Pittodrie, which Ebbe was livid about, hence why Nielsen left.
