Why do we not have a 3rd kit for Europe?

I think the club have said (might be wrong) that last seasons away would be our ‘3rd kit’ this season

Club have already confirmed last seasons white kit is our third kit this season but it is a missed trick to not stick a new third one out in September and make some more coin

We're now criticising the club for not ripping off the fans. "Hey Dave, why don't you stick an extra £10 on the price of a match ticket, treat us with contempt, just how we like it."

 

A new home strip every season is fair enough because we wear it in 90% of games so gets a fair usage. But the away is barely used, so I like how it essentially lasts for two years as it becomes the third strip.

It also makes you more likely to buy the strip if you know it'll still be in use for the following season.

The contract with Adidas is two kits a year. The last few years the away kit from the previous season has been used as the 3rd kit and that has been used at Dundee utd and Hearts in recent seasons when the away kit of that season also clashed.

For every person that says this is a missed opportunity is someone that says the club are rimming the fans with 3 new kits. Hardly a big deal. Don’t think the club make a massive amount of kits anyway.
