Millertime
Got a punchbag I want to get up and running Want to put it in the shed but really don't want to have to buy a stand Does any of this look remotely strong enough to hang it from? The bracket I have was for a brick wall, so need alternatives for the wooden options 2 Link to comment

Reed or deed
Fix it to the piece of what looks like 2x2 that is the frame for the ceiling. If that starts to weaken under the strain, then you will need to add a length of 4x2 horizontally parallel with the existing 2x2. Either that or add a piece of 4x2 from floor to ceiling to reinforce the roof frame. Or get a real man to do it 🥊 1 Link to comment

Put a fixing in the board and hang from that? To be honest I think it won't take it at all, I've just went and pushed one of the "beams" and it moves 1 Link to comment
