The fact that there has not been a thread for this indicates that not too many people are concerned about this competition. I get the impression that the club management are of the same opinion. For me this cup should be front and centre as we actually have a chance of winning it. European games are great but should not subordinate games where we have a realistic chance of winning a trophy.

Playing the best starting eleven available would say the club and management are taking the cup seriously.

There’s no need for this thread and the only reason there is one for Europe is it keeps everything in one place ie travel, pubs/hotels to go to and avoid, what matches everyone is attending and how the other teams in our group are getting on

Nope.  From the Month of June Europe should be priority focus because that’s where the “bonus” money is.

That doesn’t change just because Celtic have arsed it in a domestic cup.

That had fuck all to do with us going out to Raith Rovers in the LC a couple of years ago.

A imbalanced blend of charlatans, players not fit to wear the jersey, and mismanagement was the reason we were knocked out.

The FK Qarabag tie was fucked after Andrew Considine's injury over in Azerbaijan. Fuck knows how that pitch was deemed fit to play on and of a standard which was acceptable to UEFA.

Regardless of Considine's limited ability, there is no substitute for experience, proper leadership, and the desire to play for AFC.

We should absolutely be going for this trophy 100%.  Europe is important in terms of finance and getting some exciting games and we should try and go as far as possible of course but Aberdeen need to start winning trophies again and that will only make the club more attractive to players with the added bonus of european football

We cant even win a domestic cup with the likes of St Johnstone, Motherwell and Dundee, getting beat off junior teams like fucking Darvel 😂😂, but aye we should be going out pumping teams like Roma and West Ham who won it, or even the losers Feyenoord or Fiorentina 😂😂.
