Less of the ‘We’

’They’

One day the Lone Ranger and Tonto find themselves surrounded by hostile Indians and the Lone Ranger turns to his trusty, loyal companion and asks:

"What are we gonna do?"

Tonto’s rejoinder is...

"Whaddya mean WE, White man?"

There is some truth to that article. As we are approaching NI to speak to their manager and Lennon has a interview this week along with Lambert and Neil.

Got to interview all from the 4 man shortlist I suppose

Derek Rae's thoughts on Bernhard Peters and the club structure review.  Decent article, worth a read:

https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/24178035.german-visionary-transformed-hoffenheim-can-help-aberdeen/

“Peters moved on to Hamburg and that didn’t end so well. But there was a lot going on behind the scenes there. They had been on a slippery slope for a long time and were flirting with relegation. By the time he went in it was a difficult job.”

I don’t imagine for one second that there is any truth in this article, but if there is. We should just close the doors now

Well what a house of cards rhe weegie press are building,

Only yesterday they ran the same article in the daily ranger with the dude complaining he wasn't getting any jobs north of the border and that his cv was better than the previous few managers we took in.

The only link he has with the job is the article that he is quoted in. Maybe trying to do what dwight yorke was trying to do last time there was a vacancy....

Will be entertaining if he tries to bring in Kenny Miller as his assistant

Did anyone hear that mutant Miller on sportsound when he was asked if Fotheringham had applied for the job?

He was carrying on, saying ‘Fotheringham shouldn’t need to be applying for the Aberdeen job, Aberdeen should be approaching him’

Also said he didn’t think they’d spoken, as ‘if they had taken the time to speak to him, they’d have already handed him the job on the spot’… or words to that effect.

His CV WAS better than the previous manager we brought in.

The previous managers CV was non-existent.

Complete rookie manager, Man who won 5 games out of 21 (23.81%) for the club where we had their previous manager and apparently he's incredible? Yet we get destroyed for giving Glass and Robson the job because they are rookies? Fotheringham's agent and PR are playing a blinder!

Derek Rae also referencing Hoffenheim as a success. They had a budget of the rest of their league combined.

Money talks with regards this appointment.

If we don't splash the cash we will not attract the calibre of candidate required.

Furthermore Colgate will have to also guarantee to not interfere with the management of the team as that will also affect the recruitment.

Any potential manager doing his homework will have heard about Cormack's puppet master ways until now and would be seeking assurances.

As I keep on repeating this is the last chance saloon for Cormack.

Unfortunately I do not have much confidence that he will get it right.

There are always plenty of words, see yesterday's club statement, which are rarely backed up with equivalent actions.

ST very much on hold, for now.
