Guest Matt Armstrong's Dog
RIP Frankie. Thank you for all you did for our proud club (particularly your 4 goals against celtic at Pittodrie in Nov. 1985 and your hat-trick against the filth the previous January.) What a striker. Link to comment
ericblack4boss
Rip Frank, The best finisher I've seen play for us. Him and Blacks partnership was broken up way too soon, Top league scorer in 1984-85. Remember the 4 goal haul against Celtic and a hat trick past that hapless fucker Nicky Walker. But a career that though it was ended prematurely was lacking a deserved international cap, He watched the likes of a past it Archibald, Speedie, Sharp, McClair, mcavennie. All get called up whilst he was as good and never a sniff. Just to hammer home the disgrace from that era McDougall, Black , Stark Between them a top league scorer, domestic cup final goals, European final goals, multiple league winners medals , the ONLY midfield player since 1975-76 to score over 100 top division goals, And not even a total of 45 mins, of international appearances, I'm sorry to this day that is a national disgrace and should have been investigated and those responsible held to account long before now 3 Link to comment
