Awww such sad news. Was just a young boy when Frank was banging in them for AFC but he was one of the finest strikers I've seen in a Dons shirt.

Back in the day  it’s was said , Fergie substituted him with around 15 minutes to go. Frankie was off , washed and changed and half way finished his first frame of snooker at the Dee Swimming Club by the time full time was blown. 🤣
Great Player , good snooker player , had a couple of drinks with him about 6 years ago in “ Wilson’s & the Snug.

as i remember it, after the game we couldn't wait to get home and see the highlights
