Euro 2024 - Germany

Recommended Posts

Never been this organised for a holiday in my life!

Fly out on the 13th Glasgow to Heathrow - Frankfurt, then train to Munich

13/06 - 16/06 Munich - Germany v Scotland (Cat 1), 3 days in Munich
16/06 - 18/06 Bamberg - sample the beer and a bit of sightseeing
18/06 - 20/06 Cologne - Scotland v Switzerland (Cat 3)
20/06 - 22/06 Heidelberg - more beer!
22/06 - 24/06 Stuttgart - Scotland v Hungary (Cat 2)

Fly back on 24th Frankfurt - Heathrow - Glasgow

Cost a fair bit, doubt the opportunity will come around again and it's gonna be brilliant

Get after it mate. We are Aberdeen and Scotland fans…. There is literally nothing to enjoy for decades at a time. Take what you can get. That’s how I’m justifying it anyway!!

They do a cracking catechism.

Also, are you not sticking around for our knock out games?

I wish I could, unfortunately commitments at home may drag me back! Never know though, might miss my flight!

I was of the opinion that 2 weeks solid would be enough for my liver and mental well being.

Wasn't really planning staying further. Have flight booked home to Larnaka from Stuttgart on 25th.

However, you comment has my wheelies turning.

A brief look at the draw tells me:

Win group - Dortmund June 29th

2nd Group - Berlin June 29th

QF in 3rd - Could be Cologne 30th, Frankfurt 1st July or Munich 2nd July.

In theory, could stay beyond that too.

In reality, I'll probably just be glad to get home and recuperate. Possibly. Will see.

Great stuff. We've waited 20+ years for a proper tournament featuring Scotland. We have to enjoy it to the max.

Fingers crossed they perform as we know they can too. 🤞

Got tickets to the 3 group games, had just enough points for the SSC allocation. Lack of available holidays mean I’m not staying out for our knockout games, however I’ll be coming back out for the final, glory hunter that I am.

Tbh I’d need to sell them at a considerable mark up as looks like we’ll need to go down the grey market route for the Switzerland tickets. Cheapest pair is £911 so would need to offset some of that with the sale of the spare Hungary tickets.

I’d rather do a swap so as not to feed the tout market or essentially be labelled one myself.

Greedy bastard as if getting tickets for 1 game isn't good enough.

Managed to get all the Scotland games plus Italy v Spain and 2 France games.

Sold Turkey v Georgia and Portugal v Georgia tickets back on the UEFA resale platform as no interest in those games.

If greece had beaten Georgia in the play off that would have been an absolutely delicious fixture.

Can you do that, thought UEFA were clamping down and you could only access the tickets you bought via digital passport app?

It’s starting to sound like you don’t have the tickets that you want here.

It's not even about what I want. But how are they distributing tickets for 5+ games to one person when other people apply and get 0 tickets in total? Hardly seems like a fair system.

Remember and buy a train ticket for the journey min.

I got fined 60 EUR for nae having a ticket on the metro Munchen Ostbahnhof to Munchen Flughafen train  on oor last day in Munich in April.

We got away with it until then as within the city centre metro network there aren't sniffers employed by the DB going around.

I'm still contesting the fine with the DB as offered to pay the actual fare price (30 EUR) but the sniffer wasn't having any of it.
