Just read that Robbie Savage's son, Charlie, got his first senior cap for Wales last night - how many sons follow their faithers footsteps and play international football?

Quiet a few decent footballers see their sons signed up by someone, some of them even make it through tp playing at a decent level, but guess very few international players see their son get a cap.

Expecting a barrage of names now, but any other father / son dynasty's?

There's a fair few father/son internationalists, Patrick & Justin Kluivert for Netherlands, Lilian & Marcus Thuram for France, Hagi and hun for Romania, Paulo Maldini's old man played for Italy and his son is a professional with AC Milan.

Jordi Cruff (Johan's son) spent a season at man u, got some caps for NL and played in a European final.

Actually, didn't one of the French 98 winners have a son playing for France recently? Yes, and I'll save you the trouble of googling it, it was Thuram. Father & son both played world cup finals.

Can't be many father/sons who played at as high a level (combined).
