Nordic Referees

Given that most of the Nordic countries play summer football, would there be any benefit in having them employed to referee Scottish games involving Aberdeen and the Old Firm, during the winter,  rather than the incompetent shower.

Do you think this would be feasible?

Obviously the SFA/SPFL would never allow it.

Just get them on VAR, and let them do it remotely from their fjords.

Remember when we had Israeli refs for a weekend or two. They were shocking. Sure it was an away game to Kilmarnock.

Aye, as we’ve seen this season in Europe, we’ve had poor referees, but if they are equally shite to both sides would be preferable, to the bias, unconscious or not, we see at the moment.
