Club World Cup Final: Fluminense (Brazil/South American Champions) v Man City (cunts from England) on TNT Sport at 17:45

OOOOF!

4-0 City.

Flume cannot breach their defence, City are amazing at defending, they get 8 men behind the ball when an attack might be on.

No, the 12 UEFA teams at the Club World Cup 2025 are going DEMOLISH the non-UEFA teams, easily. If the South Americans are not a significant match for the best teams of Europe, it won't be a worthwhile 32-team/64-fixture tournament. 32 teams is way too much, 24 was the original expansion, but some greed-tard pushed for 32 teams.

It will be interesting to see the Round of 16 line-up in 2025. If the brackets/paths have the South Americans all playing a UEFA team, it will suck cheezy balls.

It's not certain if there will be a Club World Cup in December next year, as the 32-team format is coming six months after that. It's a HUGE fucking gamble to play such a club tournament in USA in 2025. The Yanks have no fucking idea what is coming their way. The English never got to go mental apeshit nuclear-nuts in 1994 thanks to Turnip Heid's tactics and the U.S. law enforcement budget was slashed in half and they breathed a sigh of relief, well, until Maradona climbed up a tree and shot journalists with an air rifle and got on the effy pills. Rest in piece, wee man, mad cunt ye were.

No, these tournament needs to NOT be fucked up in 2025. Same goes with the following year. That's going to make D-Day look like the Falklands diddy war.

Fuck me, imagine if this happened NOW? 🤣🌏💀

If this was PALMEIRAS, the best team in Brazil if not South America right now, versus Man City, this would have been some game, man, some game. The Liverpool and Chelsea Club Finals against the Brazilians were great matches.

People, fans, certainly neutrals just don't give enough of a shit right now and if 2025 USA is a half-diddy, half-re-enactment of UEFA Champ League Quarters-Semis=Final, then it won't go down well, it will be viewed as an exhibition cup.

However, it may very well be amazing, when it is held in Argentina, Brazil, Europe then it will take off. They are using 2025 as a dry-run for the 2026 World Cup.

Tbh I view this so called competition exactly the same as the Super League idea! Elitist

Any competition you enter at the semi final stage is fixed

Yeah, it's weird how that format has existed for so long into the 21st century, Gee Man.

Back in 2001, it was going to be expanded to a 12 team format and held in Spain, but the money ran out or was misspent and the tournament was cancelled for FOUR YEARS. The Liverpool and Chelsea Finals helped boost it, those are great finals, what you want to see. 2025 will have to have a HUGE element of drama and glorious fitba, or it will get slagged to fuck.

Brazilian teams have an advantage now as they play their league/Copa Libertadores from January-October/early November, so they will zip over to America mid-season to play in 2025, when the UEFA teams have just came off a gruelling season, culminating in the league race, domestic cups and Champions League Final. MLS teams are in a similar boat, they are in mid-season when the Club WC kicks off.

The trophy needs a redesign, too. it looks like something you'd see in Junior fitba. It should be a thing of immense beauty and elegance. Make a gold cauldron, like those ones that used to get dug up...
