Guest POTN
Cant quite believe a Premiership team is interested in him. Hes been piss poor this season. A struggling Norwegien team sounds more realistic. Link to comment
Gype
Aye, cana see him in the Prem - if he canny do it up here on a consistant basis he wouldn't last 10 mins doon there. Should have signed that contract Kev, it'll be all downhill for you from here....... Link to comment
MG_Don
Can't believe anybody would want him to be honest. It'll be interesting to see when he moves on if his new manager can reproduce the kev Mcnaughton of 2/3 years ago. Link to comment
Jaws
Fulham? Has to be a joke surely. If he wants to follow the likes of Rowson and let his career go down the drain then let him. No huge loss as he's been sh*te this season. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
I reckon all this bull-sh*t has come from his agent, trying to scare AFC into offering him a new deal. IMHO we should let McNaughton go, he's stagnated at Pittodrie and if many of the rumours are true, he'd probably benefit from distancing himself from the drinking culture that plagues our club. fine-n-dandy
Bump ... Sorry but not much else happening Wouldn't exactly say he's gone down hill. Some not to great predictions from some on here.In fact he's been there player of season for them & could possibly finally make it into the Premiership next season if Cardiff finally get up. http://www.wearegoingup.co.uk/tag/kevin-mcnaughton/ Link to comment

madjockmcferson
We trained him up didn't we ? Couldn't afford his contract, he left. Don't see why that indicates our inability to "progress players from promising youngster to worthwhile professional". Link to comment
StevieT1986
Infact it still baffles me why we didnt get any compo for him. I'm sure motherwell got for mccormack Link to comment

Probably didn't 'officially' sign until around about his birthday in Aug. Yeah he was done with us end of May & rumour & press more or less confirmed his destination but they probably got round it by not actually officially signing him til the month of his Birthday. fine-n-dandy
McNaughton had played 5 times for Cardiff by time he turned 24 at end of August & if you sign within a certain time before your 24th Birthday you can avoid clubs paying compo for you (think it's a month) & were all these games competitive? He could basically legally play & sign the whole of his Birthday month of August. Link to comment
