Think the head of recruitment here is a big role in terms of the recruitment worldwide we are looking at and obviously the abrupt parting of the ways at Blackpool wasn't a happy way to finish there either so probably just happy to get back in the game and doing what he had enjoyed previously. 'great' doesn't really cover Miovski, who we will likely shift for our biggest ever fee in the summer. Duk clearly hasn't hit the same heights this season, but he came with no big expectations and was one of the top players in the league last season Link to comment

The work for the summer recruitment starts now unfortunately so we'll see whether this guy is any good or not. Would hope the manager for next season would have been sourced by that point too. And if people are to be believed, the issue isn't really the Head of recruitment, they only identify players, it's then up to those above to get the deals done, also it doesn't help if the HoR recommends some players and people above say "no not them" then pursuing some shite. Exactly. Identifying players (the HoR) is one thing. The problem lies with the fact we have Steven Gunn as DoF who is responsible for negotiating with the club ms & players agents. Link to comment
