Its just the marking at set pieces and run through of the position the player is coming on to

All confirmed by the manager in a split second rather than him taking 1-2 mins to run the detail

Even still

What's a goalie coach (who clearly isn't very good at coaching goalies) doing giving any sort of tactical instructions to subs?

Who took him onboard? Can’t mind big Marshall being as prominent or jumbo Leighton.

Didn’t he come in just before Goodwin was appointed? Arse end of Glass’ tenure?

He came in temporarily to help out at some stage (did Marshall maybe have knee surgery or something?) then hung around after a shake-up. Think it was towards the end of Glass' stint though.

I've always found it bizarre how involved he is on the sidelines. Not just with the instructions to subs but he seems to get involved at other points. Must be an ego thing but if I was one of the other staff members I'd be telling him to pipe down.

I can't see him lasting much longer at the club once we revamp the management team in the summer, particularly when our goalkeeper is getting progressively worse.

Haha it isn't really

He's either slouched back, cross legged or he's instructing our subs, for some bizarre reason

Plus he survived the management cull

Plenty reason for it!

I had the misfortune of having to spend time with him and he is a twat. Absolutely loves himself.

Samson has a unique attribute in that even when he is trying to help the team I love from the touchline I still can't stand the cnut.

I also suspect he has bad breath or body odour as when he is "instructing" the subs they look like they can't get away quick enough.

Maybe that's why he is still here as gunner canna stomach letting the hoor into his office to give him the dunt.
