Dandyesque
I heard from within the club that they are looking at possibly restoring PATG. I think this would be a great move. 3 Link to comment
milne_afc
Seems ludicrous. Should be free for anyone who doesn’t have a season ticket in the current climate 2 Link to comment

I think the club are capable of having card or phone readers like Then what's the point if you are already using a barcode/QR code reader? You pay online in about 30 secs and then scan your phone to get in. It's a piece of piss. If you had a card reader then it would be fucking chaos in my opinion. You would need someone to man each one. Nayax would be no good here. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
I'm sure one turnstile per stand accepting card payments wouldn't cause complete chaos to break out Link to comment

Could just be a scanner, automated turnstile. Not too different to current arrangements but maybe more convenient for some- particularly tourists with cruise ships coming to the city now. Maybe not a huge amount, but a few thousand tickets sold extra over the course adds up. Link to comment

Just get someone handing over tickets instead of pies outside the ground and Bob's your uncle 1 Link to comment

The demographic of cruise ship passengers will have little to no interest in seeing football unless it’s champions league game and that’s a stretch. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
It would be handy for attracting new fans and visitors to the city to games though. Certainly a lot more convenient than having to set up a Dons id, buy a ticket then collect it from a bothy if you just fancied going to a random game on the spur of the moment. 1 Link to comment
