You do know that you can PATG with other methods rather than cash aye?

I think the club are capable of having card or phone readers like

Then what's the point if you are already using a barcode/QR code reader? You pay online in about 30 secs and then scan your phone to get in. It's a piece of piss.

If you had a card reader then it would be fucking chaos in my opinion. You would need someone to man each one. Nayax would be no good here.

Who the fuck still goes about with cash in 2024?

Who said anything about cash?

Could just be a scanner, automated turnstile.

Not too different to current arrangements but maybe more convenient for some- particularly tourists with cruise ships coming to the city now.

Maybe not a huge amount, but a few thousand tickets sold extra over the course adds up.

We seem to manage to sell plenty of pies inside the ground using this card payment malarkey.

Just get someone handing over tickets instead of pies outside the ground and Bob's your uncle

Some will fancy a day trip, some might like football and take in a game.

Loads of British people go to see a football match when abroad, why not the other way round?

You seem to know all about it. I'll let you wonder how that's not how we are doing it.

You could even just buy a ticket at the Merkland Road window and scan in.

Doesn't really matter how it's done, does it?

The demographic of cruise ship passengers will have little to no interest in seeing football unless it’s champions league game and that’s a stretch.

Loads of different people go on cruises.

Doesn't really matter who it is though.
