The Alfie Bavidge Thread

Didn't see one - did a search and everything...

Anyway this lad doesn't have a thread and he might be the next big thing for us. Would like Warnock to recall him and give him 30 minutes a game also we don't end up having a repeat of Bruce Anderson or Shank The Tank... 

Especially as Duk and Miovski will be off in the summer most likely and Sokler and Gueye don't look like much. Should we be recalling Alfie and giving him a run in the team ?

Our season is fucked anyway (bar the cup) let him get as many minutes as possible on the field at Kelly.

Recall him and play him in a 2 with miovski, learn from him before he goes, probably the best striker bavidge would play alongside in his whole career.

Why would you recall him to put him on the bench when the whole idea of loaning hom out is to get him games? As Warno says, if you're sitting on the bench and not playing, you're dead to me (probably)

I believe you are correct. I think there are possible allowances for emergency recalls of GK’s but not sure on that. 99% sure we can’t recall him outwith the official window

Let’s hope so, lots of promise shown, hope he can replicate it at the higher level. Looked good the couple of times he came on as sub in a few games.

We did recall Blair McKenzie from Elgin last week or so, unsure if that is injury related or he will go back out on loan at another lower league club?

transfer window for lower leagues is open later so only thing he can do is either play for our development side only, or go to another lower league. Transfer window for us is closed so we cannot recall any loan player and play them in our first team. The amount of spazzies who constantly claim recall Bavidge or Vinny when the window is closed is startling.

He'll only play if he does well.  Ayr aren't going to keep playing him if he doesn't perform.

Ayr have got Oakley and Dowds up top who are both pretty proven at that level and have started the season well, so I think he's going in there as cover. Hope I'm wrong and he plays though.
