Yeh it’s a friendly but if the excuse is that it “doesn’t really matter” then why bother with them? Of course they matter - a shite performance against a  below average opponent (who admittedly have had some decent results recently) has done nothing for this side.

Unlikely our group stage opponents will sit in like NI did, but a poor performance and result nonetheless.

We are blunt at centre forward and Patterson put in a schoolboy like performance, not just for the goal, but continuously.

Scotland have always been shite against ‘lesser’ teams, especially those that sit in 11 behind ball & counter because that is normally Scotland’s game plan 🤷

That game wasn’t as bad as some are making out. NI played a horrible (& typically Scottish type) game & certainly didn’t play it as a friendly
