Signed first pro contract last year around this time so I'd guess he's a year left as generally first contracts are 2 year deals

That's why our best youngsters should be in and around the first team rather than loaned out to Elgin or Formartine or shite like that. 

 Rejoin the reserve league and these lads would be available to play first team whenever we need them rather than having to wait 6 months or a year because they are out on loan. 

Lewis Ferguson was in the Hamilton team at 16. Lee Miller's lad also in the first team at 16. Same with Watson at Kilmarnock.   We need to do the same.

Name 1 of our players out on loan that’s good enough to command Miller, Watson minutes in our first team. I get what your saying but these players you mentioned above are very few and far between.

We'll never know unless we give them a chance. 

But Bavidge could have had plenty of minutes if he'd been here this season. 

And we've been so short of midfielders at times Marshall would have managed to get some game time too. 

The main point was that rejoining the reserve league gives us extra options and prevents us from taking in folk like Phillips on loan from Crystal Palace which benefits no one. 

And we can still loan out one or two of our own if it's the right loan for them and the club.

Agreed, look at Duncan, he’s regressed sitting on the first team bench and now looks pish, only player comparable is Barron and he’s in the first team

His first pro contract was announced last year. He signed 16th June 2023 as youngest of batch given first pro contracts at that time.

He’s the only 1 but look how much minutes sokler has seen. Looks like a decent player but player very little mins. 100% right move loaning Bavidge out in my opinion.
