moat pervert
Not long now till Eck's international bow. Heading down Friday night for a weekend swimming in booze and song. Can't wait, although I've got a horrible feeling this game could go a bit Belarus-esque. Predictions? I'm going for 1-1 although I'll be delighted to prove wrong. God, I hope Mr Bean doesn't get one! K-9
Am I the only person that thinks we'll drub them?Hopefully but just interested to see both what team McLeish sticks out and also what formation he sticks them out in!! Link to comment
Sonoftherock
I'm really worried about this one... Georgia will have a very decent first XI if everyone is fit, I certainly wouldn't bet against Arverladze sticking a goal or two past McManus, Pressley, Weir or whichever donkeys get the nod in central defence. I hope Murty plays at full-back, he's really impressed me this season... its a shame he's not a few years younger though! Losing Fletcher is a big blow too, as sh*te as hes been for Man United, he's still Scotlands most influential player going forward... added to that Miller has been dreadful this season, but will surely still start the game! Boyd has to start for me, we'll create at least a couple of chances and I'd back him to take at least one them...... Link to comment
borderterrier
I think we'll play cack, with Barry "The Crab" Ferguson hobbling off with a mysterious pinky injury after 5 minutes, but we'll scramble a jammy last minute equaliser for a disapointing 1-1 draw. Link to comment
tlg1903
Georgia are a very decent side, im going down for the game as well but im a bit worried about it. Its a must win game for us no two ways about it Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Pressely is suspended. The sourcerer and his apprentice it is then....... Weir & McManus. If we're going to win on Saturday it is imperative that the Barry Ferguson of Rangers Football Club turns up, and not the imposter he usually sends along to replace him on international weekends. sheep_shagger
I'm really looking forward to this, although like most others i have no idea how McLeish will set out his side and who will all be involved. My only problem is being able to spot the creative spark in the team. Link to comment

moat pervert
The midfield looks pretty low on inspiration. We're heavily reliant on Fletcher for that and he'll be a big miss. It's a pity we can't call on Faddy either, although I'd have started with him on the bench. I can see us having to rely on set pieces. When did we last score from a free kick, btw?? Maybe we're due one of them. Link to comment

BTR
I doubt it'll be 3-5-2. minijc
It would be plane stupidity not to play boyd but with Eck being ex huns boss and bringing in Boydy i'm sure he'll start plus he's a fan of Anderson so i reckon he has a chance of a game too. Link to comment

MG_Don
Scotland always start well, they always either create a chance/hit the post/ have a pen appeal. Then after that it's usually all downhill but hopefully Eck can get off to a good start. Link to comment
paulkaneatemyhamster
Georgia are no mugs, but if Scotland are to have any chance of getting out of this group of death then we MUST beat the likes of Georgia at home. i view Scotland a lot like AFC, slowly but surely getting there, but invariably in the MUST win games we come unstuck Link to comment

borderterrier
Donnie Munro is an arsehole. Not only does he mime when he sings at Hampden, but the unionist scumbag refuses to sing the third verse of flower of scotland because of its anti english lyrics. Thats why when he sings they always repeat the second verse. Luckily he isnt doing it this time, Ronnie Brown is. Now he's a true legend. Link to comment
