uni_don
I was reading on the BBC that according to the Daily Mirror "Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has refused to rule himself out of taking over at Manchester City if Stuart Pearce is sacked." Why would he go from Bolton to Man City? Surely Bolton are in a much better position that Man City, both financially and in footballing terms. If Pearce gets chucked (which he probably will, even though I quite like him), who else would be in the frame to take over? Link to comment
minijc
City are meant to be getting bought over so maybe Sam is seeing the opertunity to get sh*t loads of cash and at the same time wreck a decent club that he basically built up. Reckon Boothroyd from Watford would take that job if he was offered as his name has been chucking in. Link to comment
tragicwaster
im sure city would be an attractive proposistion to big sam. club with a history, big fan base (think the average is nudging 40000) and if he were to get the gig he'd start with fairly low expectations. plus he wouldnt have to move house city have alot more potential than bolton imo Link to comment
Dynamo
Why would he go from Bolton to Man City? Bigger club. More potential. Bolton have probably gone as far as they'll ever go. Link to comment
