minijc
personally i thought the forest keeper looked pretty decent and the pundits kept talking him up, anyone here make a few of their games that could tell more about the keeper? Link to comment
Dynamo
Forest and Leeds in league 1 next season. Double european cup winners and Leeds - european cup finalists. How the mighty have fallen! Although Leeds demise has been amusing! Link to comment

I've seen him a number of times... hes a decent keeper. Probably too good for League 1 - mind I thought that about half of Forests team! The player to watch, is a teenager called Lewis McGugan - straight off the Nottingham production line that produced Dawson and Jenas. He is a central midfielder that has captained the England youth team at various levels - he's a dead ball specialist of some ability as well, despite only breaking into the first team a couple of months ago hes already curled in few beauties! I play football with one of the nottingham forest physios and he tells me that he's rated even higher than likes of Dawson and Jenas - all notti. He is still only 18 and apparently they've been holding him back from the first team since he was about 16 - according to this guy the coaches didn't want to expose him earlier as Forest have been struggling so badly and the crowd have getting the players backs in recent years. Doubtful that they'll keep him past summer as apparently representatives of all the top premiership clubs have been present at all of Forests matches since the word got out that he'd broken into the first team. Monkey
Watched the game in a pub in Nottingham and have never seen a place go through so many emotions in the space of about 30 mins. The whole place exploded after Holt's goal and went totaly flat when Yeovil scored their 5th. A lot of the fans I was chatting with thought they didn't deserve to go up anyway as they have had a pretty hit and miss season. 2-0 up after the first leg and losing it 5-4 has got to hurt though. Where abouts were you watching the game? There are so many parallels betweens Forest & Aberdeen its almost spooky. Attending the city ground, atmosphere-wise is very similar to Pittodrie....I've never seen a group of supporters turn so quickly on their own set of players out side of Pittodrie. I feel sorry for the players - but I also sympathise with the fans... our (aberdeen) sad demise is nothing compared to the fall from grace forest have suffered! Its not just Aberdeen who have very vocal boo-boy minority! Link to comment

"Up and Down Under" Was chatting to the Manager after the game who was gutted as they were expecting a massive pay day if they had got through. Friday night was our student pub night before we hit the Lace Market on the Saturday night, sniffing around the Timberlake fans. Link to comment
