BobbyBiscuit
I know a lot of you guys like a punt and was wondering if any of you have made any bets on League winners/Champions League Winners etc etc? Hills and Ladbrokes are doing a coupon which pairs two teams against each other and whoever finishes higher in the league is the winner. Aberdeen have been paired with Hearts and have been given very favourable odds (15/8 I believe). Anyone having a punt on this? Mods - would it be possible to sticky this, so that we can have one betting thread for the whole season, instead of a new one starting for every weekend/midweek? Cheers. Link to comment

BobbyBiscuit
Who's the other pairs? Huns/TimsKillie/Hibs Who are United up against? Can't remember off hand who Utd were against mate. Will be picking a coupon up for it this evening and can post them tomorrow morning. It also had a fairly decent price for Blackburn (5/6) to finish higher than Sunderland which I think is pretty good value. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Don't usually punt much on the Ante-post... however, this year there looks to be a lot of value available, with most firms making Barcelona the hot (4/1) favourites! I quite fancy Inter Milan to make an impact in this years Champions League.... If I had any spare money floating about I'd take: Manchester United (TO WIN) @ 8/1 2ptsInter Milan (E/W) @ 10/1 5pts Link to comment

BobbyBiscuit
Free money. Hills now have this at 4/6. I've taken this along with United to finish above Falkirk (8/11), Celtic to finish above the huns (4/6) and Lincoln to finish above Notts County (Evs). These are all Hills prices. The Dons are 11/8 to finish above Hearts, good price, but I don't want to jinx it. Link to comment

paulkaneatemyhamster
Hills offering 7/1 on Caley or Falkirk to go down , seems like a decent bet call me mental but i fancy 13/2 on Dundee winning the Div 1 title this season - i think they're gonna have a great season. 3/1 on Raith wininig Div 2 , not a lot of value in div 3 7/4 East Fife or 7/2 Arbroath 3/1 on paddy power for Spurs making the top 4 - worth a sniff ? also - 6/1 on bolton going down might prove interesting , corlas offering 4/1 on Sunderland could also be good. and finally 6/1 on Curbishly being first manager sacked Link to comment
sheep_shagger
I'll be taking a bit on the Sunderland bet! Disagree with Dundee as i think they'll be third at best in teh 1st division with it a fight between St.Johnstone and Dunfermline for promotion. Link to comment

That is a splendid bet. I don't have the patience/moolah to place bets where I can't collect until next May though. I want instant money. Link to comment

Supposedly JC is the safest manager in the league... the bookies obviously don't know how fickle our fans are then! Link to comment
