i think that the old firm expanded their youth scouting networks all over the country putting the squeeze on clubs like ourselves.

I'm pretty sure Shinnie is a hun supporter, I know his younger brother is anyway. If the team I support was showing an interest in me, I'd sure as hell snap up the chance to play for them.

Most of our best players over the years came from the Glasgow area, so we can't moan that they're now taking the best talent from the North-East.

To be honest, if you're a youngster and you're being given the chance to sign for aberdeen (a top 6 club challenging for europe at best with not great training facilities) or one of the old firm (with very good training facilities and a first team who is one of the top two in the country), think I know who I'd choose if I wanted to better myself
