Henry
surely must chart in the top three most boring transfer sagas of the summer along with Naismith to the Huns, and Tevez to ManYoo. Link to comment
robbo
as much as i dislike man united, i think its the right decision. he has a contract with man u and should be made to honour it. They got him the best treatment for his ACL tear, got him back to full fitness, too right he owes them. Wonder if hell offer to buy out his 2 mil a year contract if hes so desperate to move. As the panel said, the letter he received saying he could leave if they got an offer of 6.8 million wasnt a binding contract. just said thats the fee they wanted. If they got that theyd consider the offer. Too right man u shouldnt help make their rivals stronger. If he wants to leave that badly, he can go to another country. Link to comment
The Proclaimer
It's about time that a club won over a player in this sort of dispute. Already had Liverpool fans moaning because of the Tevez deal, but the two cannot be compared. If Liverpool did offer Link to comment
K-9
Man Utd now stuck with player who doesn't want to be there and more than likely wont play under Fergie again, but still picking up 70k a week (over 3.5 million a year). Link to comment

robbo
on SSN that Lyon want him and Silvestre. Benitez is raging saying its just Man U all over again. They had no problems with the actual signing of Tevez whereas they had to wait all of janurary and the start of february to sign Mascherano. He cant belive the way they have treated the player. Benitez and his stupid beard can phuck off. To say that Man U had no problems with the Tevez transfer is ridiculous. What planet is that goon living on? The Macherano deal was held up for the same reasons as the Tevez deal, but also further because a player CANNOT BE REGISTERED TO THREE DIFFERENT CLUBS IN THE SAME YEAR. If I can see that, why can't Rafa? Tw*t. As for Heinze, after the support United gave him during his injury, Rafa can "get tay" with his accusations of mistreating the player. If Heinze really wants to go, he can stump up the cash and buy out his contract. He's over 28 so has the freedom to do so. Sour grapes... Link to comment

Guest LondonScottish
Where you hearing this? This was a story in a Spanish newspaper yesterday. It has been denied completely by the player and his agent that any contact has been made with Madrid. However the West Ham loan link is a genuine possibility, certainly until January. Fergie gets on very well with Curbishley, and I don't think he'd have a problem loaning him to West Ham. Player stays match-fit, Manchester Utd rile up Liverpool even more, and Heinze may well be required after January in the latter stages of the European Cup. Link to comment
