I think that scoring the goal which won the European Cup probably entitles him to be revered by manyoo fans as a legend. Link to comment
The Proclaimer
Legend^ Aye, he'll be mega-chuffed with his medal haul from his illustrious career. Ole was a good player but legend???? Do me a favour. If you seriously mean that, you're clueless Link to comment
Guest CAPSLOCK
What did he achieve in 15 years playing football? Any FA CupsAny League CupsAny European TrophiesAny Cup final winning goals ONE League title - just the one. Thats not the stuff of legends dude. LUKE CHADWICK PROBABLY HAS A FEW OF THOSE MEDALS TOO. IF I WANTED TO BUM SHEARER UP I'M SURE I COULD FIND PLENTY OF ACHIEVEMENTS WHICH WOULD PUT OLE'S CAREER IN THE SHADOWS. LEGEND STATUS IS VERY MUCH IN THE EYE OF THE CLUB'S FANS, NONE OF WHICH WILL PROBABLY GRANT OTHER PLAYERS LEGEND STATUS TO BECAUSE THEY DON'T SUPPORT (CHUCKLES) MORE THAN ONE TEAM. BUT NO DOUBT YOU'LL BE TELLING ME ZERO'S A DONS LEGEND REGARDLESS OF HIS TROPHEY CABINET AND LISTING EBBE'S ACHIEVEMENTS AS SOMETHING WORTHY OF NOTE. Link to comment
