Sonoftherock
Not sure how anyone could have an arguement over Stephen McManus' inclusion? For me, he's one of the first names on the team sheet these days. Link to comment
vanderark14
Proclaimer - rightfully so. I don't think some of the players in that squad should be there, but sh*t happens. and i agree with you. apart from teale and macmanus those guys shouldnt be there. but the majhority of those highlighted will probably start Link to comment
paulkaneatemyhamster
why moan about Miller ? 3 goals in 4 games so far this season McManus is playing alright - captain and first choice cenre back of te Champions Weir is also playing OK , but has nae pace rangers i believe have conceded very few gaols this season Link to comment

badly don boy
my 2 cents... feck knows how hartley is in the squad, even celtic fans say he hasnt kicked a ball for them. id ditch that wee greaseball for Barry nic who had a great season last year and has started well this year. Link to comment

Weir shouldn't play at the expense of a younger centre-half but see no reason why he shouldn't be in the squad. Hutton shouldn't be there though. He has not done anything of note to justify an inclusion in the squad let alone the starting eleven....apart from play for Rangers. Link to comment

paulkaneatemyhamster
So what players do you not think should be in that squad? And what players do you think should be in the squad instead of them? i think - in stead of Hutton & Alexander we could have Neilson, Hart or Wilson McEverly looks ok - but if he was a scouser with a english granny playing for motherwell would he get a call up ? Harltey doesn't merit a place in the squad - however i don't know who merits a place ? Nicholson maybe ? unless the forwards are playing regularly they should think of of moving on - not one of our centre forwards is a first choice starter at his club , which is worrying Link to comment

Miller plays upfront for Celtic, and anyone whose watches much of Everton will tell you that McFadden has been employed almost exclusively as a wide midfielder. Last week was the first time this season he's been used as an orthodox striker..... he also managed a goal in that match! Link to comment

Hart if i am being honest, is not good enough for Scotland. I would have Hutton and Wilson as the two RB's. Agree with Hartley, had a good six months for Hearts 2 years ago, and has done ph*(k all since. Pressley has finally been dropped from the squad and Robson added which are both good moves. I can see your point about none of the 6 strikers starting for their clubs, but what can we do? Call up Mackie just because he starts every week? I would also have Naismith in the squad. Good enough your old enough. Link to comment

Guest TenementFunster
Wilson Whittaker and Hart are all better options at right full back. Nicholson is a better midfielder than Hartley. I too would have Naismith in the squad too. Link to comment

Is there not Under 21 matches that Naismith has been selected for instead of the full squad? Find it strange he wouldn't even be in the squad if not. Link to comment
