why moan about Miller ?

3 goals in 4 games so far this season

McManus is playing alright - captain and first choice cenre back of te Champions

Weir is also playing OK , but has nae pace rangers i believe have conceded very few gaols this season

why moan about miller? because he's pish and runs around like a headless chicken.

goes missing for months at a time then bags a brace and the weegie press jump on the bandwagon that he's regained his form.

scotlands front 2 should be from Macfadden, Boyd or O'connor IMO

Agree, specifically about McManus.

Weir shouldn't play at the expense of a younger centre-half but see no reason why he shouldn't be in the squad.

Hutton shouldn't be there though. He has not done anything of note to justify an inclusion in the squad let alone the starting eleven....apart from play for Rangers.

hmmm but McfAdden 14 goals in 116 games for Everton

where as Miller has 11 in 46 games for Celtic

nowt between them really

both useful on the bench in my view

O'Conner & Boyd to start for me.

agree with the bottom bit.

didnt know that about Mcfadden.

is that 116 appearances or starts?

So what players do you not think should be in that squad?

And what players do you think should be in the squad instead of them?

i think - in stead of Hutton & Alexander we could have Neilson, Hart or Wilson

McEverly looks ok - but if he was a scouser with a english granny playing for motherwell would he get a call up ?

Harltey doesn't merit a place in the squad - however i don't know who merits a place ? Nicholson maybe ?

unless the forwards are playing regularly they should think of of moving on - not one of our centre forwards is a first choice starter at his club , which is worrying

Miller plays upfront for Celtic, and anyone whose watches much of Everton will tell you that McFadden has been employed almost exclusively as a wide midfielder. Last week was the first time this season he's been used as an orthodox striker..... he also managed a goal in that match!

I would agree with Wilson, but Neilson, surely not, he is very average and has done nothing to deserve a call up.

Hart if i am being honest, is not good enough for Scotland. I would have Hutton and Wilson as the two RB's.

Agree with Hartley, had a good six months for Hearts 2 years ago, and has done ph*(k all since.

Pressley has finally been dropped from the squad and Robson added which are both good moves.

I can see your point about none of the 6 strikers starting for their clubs, but what can we do?

Call up Mackie just because he starts every week?

I would also have Naismith in the squad. Good enough your old enough.

Wouldn't have Neilson near the Aberdeen team let alone the Scotland team.

then drop Hartley and use McFadden in that wide role , bring in Naismith upfront.

Wilson Whittaker and Hart are all better options at right full back.

Nicholson is a better midfielder than Hartley.

I too would have Naismith in the squad too.

Now you mention it, surprised Whittaker is missing from that squad, especially with him now being a Hun, giving him a much higher chance of a call up.

Is there not Under 21 matches that Naismith has been selected for instead of the full squad? Find it strange he wouldn't even be in the squad if not.

Even if he's eligible for the 21's he should be in the big squad.

I would have O'Connor with Maloney playing just off him.
