Not quite sure at all what you did there, or what relevance this has to Defoe's transfer. Sky Andrew has been in meetings with Chelsea for the past two days, trying to sort out some sort of deal. There's obviously a lack of time now, and looks like Tottenham want Wright-Phillips, who may have a problem going to Tottenham for obvious reasons. Without W-P I can't see Spurs agreeing.

 

Would appear to be at a fairly advanced stage, unlike any pie-in-the-sky Lovell transfer who will definitely not be signing for Chelsea. or anyone else for that matter
