Martin Allen has been sacked as Leicester manager after 3 months in charge. Difference of opinion with Mandaric the chairman, and there's only going to be one winner there.

Jeez!! Could see this happening a while ago after the Hasselbaink debacle. There was only going to be one winner after all the squables and it was going to be Mandaric. Shame as thought Allen would do a job given time. Looks like it'll be another season in the Championship for my English team.

I think he is a good manager. I can't understand giving a manager such as a short period of time, squabbles or not. Wonder if he's like a look at us??

I agree, barely 3 months in charge and a few disagreements and he's away. Given that most of the players there are his signings, they'll have to start from scratch and a few managers will be put off the job, knowing what Mandaric is like. Although I noticed that Warnock is an early favourite. :angry8:

I reckon there's every chance Warnock will get it. Was he not a close second to Allen in the first place?

Yeah he was. Mandaric seems to rate him and also tried to get him as manager when he was at Portsmouth.

Our management team are well and truely stuck in place, but if the vacancy was there, Allen would be excellent. Really knows how to get the best out of players, with zero money to spend. (mmmm....sounds better by the minute!!)
