irnbru
From BBC Scotland under-21 manager Archie Knox has left his post to join the backroom staff at Bolton. The former Manchester United, Rangers and Everton assistant boss will work for Sammy Lee as coaching co-ordinator. Knox will also work alongside first-team coaches Gary Speed, Ricky Sbragia and Jimmy Phillips. Lee succeeded Bolton boss Sam Allardyce who has taken over at Newcastle. Bolton are currently 18th in the league with three points from four games. Link to comment

boaby
Bolton ahead of Scotland? Seems like Archie has bought the Walter and Ally's latest publication: "101 ways to be a (*%T." Boooo Eric Black has is supposed to be a cracking coach is he nae? Worth a shot at bringing on the U-21s? Brian McClair maybe. Someone has to find a way to make the succesfull U-19 team of last year into the finished product. Link to comment

Can't see Sammy Lee being around that long, so he may be going for something bigger than an assistant/coach Link to comment
