the Montrose v Pollock match could be very interesting - interesting to see how far junior sides have come or can go !!

 

Agreed that could be a cracker. If it was down here i'd possibly have gone along, depending on the dons game. Linlithgow Rose at home will fancy their chances i reckon and Culter also got a home draw.

Decent draw for the Sons, I'd rather have a pish poor Forfar side than a team from the West of Scotland or Highland League that are flying in their own league.... Pity I'm not still in the North East, that'd have been a good day out!

You'd have been better with Golspie Sutherland - they're not even in the Highland League!

The Scottish Cup has a new format this season. This is how it works:

 

First round

Saturday, 29 September, 2007.

35 clubs (17 ties and one bye):

14 clubs formerly participating in the Qualifying Cup North, excluding the top two in the Highland League: Brora Rangers, Buckie Thistle, Clachnacuddin, Cove Rangers, Deveronvale, Forres Mechanics , Fort William, Fraserburgh, Golspie Sutherland, Huntly, Lossiemouth, Nairn County, Rothes, Wick Academy.

18 clubs formerly participating in the Qualifying Cup South, excluding the winners of the East of Scotland and South of Scotland leagues: Burntisland Shipyard, Civil Service Strollers, Coldstream, Dalbeattie Star, Edinburgh City, Edinburgh University, Gala Fairydean, Glasgow University, Girvan, Hawick Royal Albert, Newton Stewart, Preston Athletic, St Cuthbert Wanderers, Selkirk, Spartans, Vale of Leithen, Whitehill Welfare, Wigtown and Bladnoch.

3 Scottish Junior FA clubs (would have been four if Linlithgow Rose had not qualified on two counts):
