  1. Strange he hasn't featured this season, especially after an impressive breakthrough at the end of last season.
  2. Scrappy match but a point is certainly no disaster. It's still progress given our recent record at Tynecastle. Hearts are better than their league position suggests, create plenty but don't convert. Shanklands loss of form has been spectacular. Both Edinburgh sides will claw their way out of it eventually. As for ourselves, it's been a tough run of fixtures which has coincided with a dip in performance levels. Chucking two cold defenders in there was a risk and McGarry especially took time to warm up. Losing our number 1 further disrupted things. Celtic aren't the team you want coming to town when you need to restore confidence but equally it's a good chance to show we're still in contention.
  3. Put through the emotional ringer at the end there but we can't complain too much about the result. A sobering couple of away games that's exposed our areas of weakness. As frustrating as it was conceding twice in injury time, even more of a concern is our tepid first half performances where we look undercooked, resulting in Jimmy having to make subs at the break. It's worked in our favour for the most part in the 2nd half but surely can't be sustained. We've edged a few close games that could have gone either way but performances haven't been exceptional. It's the cameo appearances that have made the headlines.
  4. Still an outside chance, goals in all other games, MK Dons pulled one back.
  5. Bit ominous that Harris isn't hitting the Biden numbers in a fair percentage of both blue and red counties. That'll be crucial in the swing States. Trump by a nose methinks.
  6. I can attest, living in the PNW. Surrounded by forest, still never more than 50 yards from a Starbucks. Had a brown bear saunter doon our street. A mountain lion was just recently spotted next neighbourhood over. The BOD upbringing doesn't really train you for such encounters. As for the election, Tighter than a gnats chuff but I reckon Trump needs snookers now. Harris coming up the rails and Trump's been slightly more unhinged than usual in the run in. Results gonna have more injury time than the last World Cup though.
  7. Let them eat cats! They have nothing but distain for humans. I play by my own rules man.
  8. Not a bad result considering we have zero goal threat up front and passengers in defence. Can't be surprised when Individuals that should be nowhere near this level get badly exposed. That's on Clarke though, for lazy team selection.
  9. You have to earn an International cap, not be awarded them based on who you play for or who you used to play for. Pick the form players at any given time. If a player can't get a regular gig at club level, how can they be deemed ready for International football? Clarke is not exclusive in this. Too many managers use the excuse of limited resources to justify it.
  10. Clarke could have taken the heat off himself by giving some of our fringe players a go at this level. The result is pretty meaningless but we do need to see some hope for the future, especially with WC qualifiers looming. Instead he put his head on the block before we even kicked a ball and as the scoreline suggests, will rightly be pulled up on it (short of a miraculous 2nd half!).
