Wait, what!?  You'd never watched Karate Kid before? Did you grow up in a cellar?

Life in the Fritzel house was tough.

Nah, seen I-III before, but not since early 90s. Long enough that i'd forgotten large chunks of the original and wasn't sure how it'd hold up in the era of Cobra Kai.

Taking my kids to see Mission Impossible 8 tonight. I've seen very mixed reviews so far, but I'll keep an open mind. 😎👍

I might be going to see it on Monday.

Not been to the pictures since 1993, Falling Down was the film.

We're not long back from seeing it. I was concerned 2hr 50min was going to be too long, but while I think they could have shaved 15-20min off at best, it's not a big issue. No spoilers, but the kids and I all enjoyed it. I'd say this and its predecessor are around middle ranking of the 8 (I think Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation are the best, followed by Fallout).

8? Fucking give it up like. Same with fast and furious. Just let it go.

I've stuck with F&F. The worse it gets, the better it gets.

The hoors were up in space in their car on the last one. Tremendous.

Saving Private Ryan. Haven't watched it for many years, can hardly remember any of it. One of the benefits of smoking too much dope and having a memory like a sieve. Great film.

impossible when the main actor is tom hanks

Not a huge Tom Hanks fan, but there's no denying he's been in some fantastic movies. Apollo 13, Big, Bridge of Spies, Catch Me If You Can, Dragnet, Green Mile, Greyhound, Post, Road to Perdition, Saving Private Ryan, Splash & Toy Story I-IV. That's a phenomenal CV.
